Welcome to our website we are qualified wedding portrait and events photographers based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

We set up Funkydory Photography in 2011 and have steadily grown a successful photography business gaining work mainly from referrals and recommendations. We have worked hard to create a quality product and kept pace with changing trends and camera advances and techniques.

We really enjoy every wedding as much as the couple themselves and give absolutely 100% to each and every one of them. It,s a very true saying that "every wedding is different" and whether its a small intimate gathering of close family and friends,or a grand affair that has been years in the planning, we love being there and capturing the moments.

My wife Lesley and I work as a team and people often comment on how we have contributed to the day itself. We like a laugh and always try to make the most of the venue and the people we are with.I capture the whole range of images from the day including the all important informal pictures of your friends and family enjoying themselves.

We have covered many of the regions top venues, including, Lumley Castle, Langley Castle, Matfen Hall Hotel, Slaley Hall, Beamish Hall, Newton Hall and Le Petit Chateaux to name 0nly a very small few.
